I picked up this robins egg blue low fire glaze from Amaco to test it out when I was designing a set of bowls for a commission. Although this is a low fire glaze, I used it on a high fire clay and fired it in mid fire temperature. The fine distribution of dimples may be due to firing this glaze in a higher temperature than it was made for. The texture feels sort of like an orange peel.
A midfire white glaze was splashed across the bowl after pouring the blue glaze.
