This was a set of nesting bowls I made my brother and sister-in-law when they had their first baby. Bao is the nick name they were calling her while in mommy's belly. I thought it would be cute to make them "nesting" bowls because they are now nesting themselves ^_^
Different shades of green were used for each mommy and daddy bowl. The two shades of green were combined for baby Bao's bowl to symbolize her creation.
First I poured the green glaze on the bowl. Then I used wax resist to draw a heart in the middle and "Mommy", "Daddy", and "Bao" on the outside of the bowls before pouring the white glaze over.
