My intent here was to make a shallow bowl, but this piece turns out to have two functions. Because the foot of the bowl is so easy to hold, this piece can also be a lid.
I love how this runny glaze pools at the edges of a piece, creating a gradient of light brown where it's been stretched to deep coffee brown where it pools.
