This is Amaco's celadon series glaze called Iron poured on one half of the bowl with Amaco's Sahara white glaze poured on the other half. I'm just testing out the iron glaze because it's about three years old. There's some clumps in it that show up as these specks after the firing. Trying to decide if I like this effect or if I should filter out the clumps or toss the glaze.
I made trimmed the bowl itself in 2019 and then glazed it two years later in 2021 =). Sometimes I have pieces like this waiting around to use for testing glaze ideas.
