When I was younger, I would doodle repeating patterns of geometric shapes. I guess I'm still drawn to those kinds of patterns! I used wax resist to paint the ovals, circles, and dots on the outside of this bowl. After the wax dried, I dipped this bowl in three different glazes: Tenmoku, amber, and chrome. I chose not to trim a raised foot on this piece because I didn't have enough clay on the bottom of this bowl.
Firing: Reduction high fire
