This is one of my favorite creations and it's also super elusive. I have yet to recreate this exact glaze effect. You may notice similar glaze combinations on other pieces, which were my attempts to recreate this one. I think there may be a key in the thickness of the butter scotch glaze, which is the light yellow glaze I first dip this entire bowl in.
Some glazes are more sensitive to the chemical makeup and the firing conditions. Even the thickness of how the glazes cover the bowl and the order of how the glazes are layered can affect the outcome.
