The glaze on the left side of the bowl shown in the first picture is called Shino. This glaze based on traditional Japanese Shino-ware. It's known for its thick white base with highlights of burnt orange marks. On the right is a matte glaze called million $ yellow. I love the shadow-effect that both of these glazes create.
