This little one was made during a period of time when I was obsessed with making V-shaped shallow bowls with a small foot. Although they are beautiful, bowls with a small foot are a little less stable.
At the time, I mainly shaped bowls with my hands rather than using tools. As I've started to make bigger and bigger bowls, I've begun to lean on tools for shaping because this helps strengthen the clay by preventing the need to add water and also by pushing out excess water.
