This bowl actually uses only one glaze but I held one side to dip the bowl into the bucket of glaze. Since I was holding that side, I didn't dip the bowl all the way in. After it dried enough to hold the other side, I then dipped the rest of the bowl in glaze. There was slight cross over between the layers, which created the lighter green stripe shown.
