Before firing this bowl, it was symmetrically circular. This warped effect sometimes occurs in the glaze firing step. When I wired this bowl off of the bat during the wet stage, I might have warped the bowl and then tried to re-achieve its symmetry. The warping can create "memory" in the clay that comes back in the end.
Although this bowl doesn't stack well into other bowls, the oval shape gives it a fun uniqueness =)
