When I do custom orders, I have to make several extra pieces in case errors happen at any step in the pottery-making process. This often results in several extra non-glazed bisque pieces lying around, which is fun because I can then use the extra pieces to try new glaze. I've been really digging this splash technique to create these oblong crossing shapes.
