Terra red clay is midfire clay that can be stretched thin when throwing it similar to how thin I can stretch porcelain clay without it collapsing. I made this set of bowls to experiment how well I could match thin bowls.
I love the way transparent glaze creates a toasty edge where the clay is initially exposed from the glaze.
